Right now all 3 Shen Yun Performing Arts companies with live orchestras are in San Francisco, Detroit, and Philadelphia simultaneously from the 2nd of January 2010. SOH caught up with audience member Shubha Chakraboity at Detroit Opera House on January 2 for the metinee performance. Shubha is a Indian Classical dancer, as a dancer, she compares Indian classical dance with Chinese Classical dance on its styles, props, and technics. She commented that digital backdrop made her eyes opened to see the landscapings and learned the Chinese culture. She said that it is very impressive that performers’ every hand-movement and foot-movement are in highly precise coordination. She found it is very hard to do.
Now, let’s listen to Shubha Chakraboity’s professioal view points and thoughts.
