Once upon a time, there was a small island where many beings lived. Happiness, Sorrow, Knowledge, and Love, along with other Emotions, lived on this island.

One day, the Emotions learned the island was about to sink. Everyone then prepared to leave the island, except Love.

Love insisted that she would stay until the very last minute.

A few days later, when the island was about to sink, Love thought of asking for help. At that time, she saw Wealth passing by in a big ship.

Welcome to the Sound Of Hope Radio network, This is Catherine Hennessy and in this program we will be covering Shen Yun Performing Arts in Greensboro, North Caroline at War Memorial Auditorium on 4th of September, 2009.

Shen Yun at Greensboro is presented by North Carolina Falun Dafa Association.

Attending War Memorial Auditorium on Friday Evening performance was Katheryn LaGrand, a professional musician and a teacher of flute. Katheryn was in tune with the authentic Chinese 2 stringed violin – El Hu. This instrument can create a soulful ambiance only in a live performance. She also opened her ears to the original sound of Eastern instruments in the orchestra.
