The Three Final Wishes of Alexander the Great Alexander was a great Greek king. As a military commander, he was undefeated and the most successful throughout history. On his way home from conquering many countries, he came down with an illness. At that moment, his captured territories, powerful army, sharp swords, and wealth all had no meaning to him. He realized that death would soon arrive and he would be unable to return to his homeland. He told his officers: “I will soon leave this world. I have three final wishes. You need to carry out what I tell you.” His generals, in tears, agreed.

Host:  Welcome back to 3D Dialogue.  With me in the studio is Joel Chipkar, spokeman for Falun Dafa Association of Canada.  Chinese government initially facilitated and suported Falun Gong and later decided to control it because the movement is just too powerful.  But I have misperception of Falun Gong as a political movement rather than a spiritual movement, perhaps other people have the same perception as well.  Could you please comment on it?

Animal Farm – Part 9

Hello Class, This is Daniel with Sound of Hope Radio, here in our out-door studio in the Czech Republic.  It was a difficult week for me, as I was having some conflicts with my business partner, regarding the different ways in which we see the future of the company.  Especially concerning loans, and car leasing and other things connected to accumulating debt.  In the end we were able to work it out, I think largely due to my friends good advice to talk face to face, not on the phone or by email, and be honest about my feelings, and intentions, and not to hide anything.  Also I think it was good that, although there were strong feelings involved, each of us was able to listen to the other completely, without reacting to the sensitive things which may have hurt each others feelings. Anyway I can see now the importance of open talking, and open listening, when you have a conflict.  OK, well lets get started..When we finished last week, the harvest was described…Animal Farm, Continued

Hello Class! Daniel here with the Sound of Hope Radio, ready to deliver another episode of Animal Farm English.  Summer is coming to an end here, sad to say.  I am definately a fan of warm weather, sunshine, blue skies, and green fields.  But this is nature’s cycle, and we must adapt and accept.  I have a birthday this week, and will turn 32.  I used to care about my age, about getting older, but now I don’t care anymore how old I am.  I feel at peace and look forward to each new phase of my life, comforted by the fact that I am a spiritual practitioner of the Great Way of Falun Dafa, and am not using my time for less important things.  I hope you are ready for our story.  When we left off last week, The Commandments of Animalism were painted on the barn. Enjoy! Animal Farm Continued

Animal Farm Class 7

Greeting students.  I hope you are all well and enjoying your lives.  I am pretty busy this week, but I am happy to be with you for another episode of Animal Farm English.  I have spent a lot of time with my daughter this week which is good, because the time flies so fast.  I try to steal as many kisses from her as I can, because I know that in the blink of an eye she will be 18 and less interested in me.  Now she is 2 and a half, so she still finds me entertaining.  I like being a father, so I try and appreciate it and be grateful…..Anyway without further ado, let’s get started. When we left off last week the animals had just completed their uprising… Animal Farm Continued

Animal Farm Class 6

Hello Class, Daniel here with Sound of Hope radio.  I hope you had a very nice week.  It is good to be back with you again.  It has been a beautiful summer here and our garden is full of delicious vegetables and fruits.  We have apricots, apples, and nice red tomatoes, and in the autmn there will be walnuts, which I like very much.  I can see that gardening is very good for children, as my daughter is very enthusiastic about helping out. In addition it is of course much healthier to eat home grown vegetables.  Well lets get back to our story.  When we left off, Moses was telling tales about Sugar Candy mountain. Enjoy the story!
